  • About The Role

  • Shape the Future of Westminster Abbey’s Investments

Westminster Abbey’s Investment Panel plays a vital role in safeguarding and growing the Abbey’s financial resources. Established under the Westminster Abbey Act 1975, the Panel reviews the Abbey’s investment portfolio and advises the Abbey Board on any changes that may be desirable. The portfolio is currently managed by RBC Brewin Dolphin.

The Panel consists of four non-executive members, supported by members of the Abbey’s Finance Department. We are now seeking an additional fifth member to bring fresh expertise and perspective.

    About the Role

This voluntary position offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the Abbey’s mission and long-term financial sustainability.

We are looking for someone with:

    • Deep expertise in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and investment management (particularly European and global markets).

    •  Strong client-facing experience and the ability to provide strategic insight.

    • Experience working with large organisations in a non-executive capacity.

While knowledge of the not-for-profit sector, charity accounting, and the role of an Investment Committee is not essential, it would be
    advantageous.

    Our Commitment

As part of our commitment to greater inclusivity, we strongly encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds.
